Private vs. Semi-Private Golf Communities

Atlanta has a wide variety of golf communities in every size and price range.  About all the golf communities here will have great amenities like playgrounds, swimming pools, multiple tennis courts, but sometimes the golf course will be managed and is totally separate from the community.  We call these type communities semi-private, and you will have the opportunity to join for usually a small initiation fee.  The key is the golf course is open to the public, but the amenities are not. 

If you prefer a totally private golf community, Atlanta does offer quite a few all around the city and suburbs in all price ranges.  This area offers some incredible golf courses that are very affordable compared to other private golf communities around the United States.  The beauty is you can play golf here year round!
